writing an artist statement is just a challange to try not sound like a bigheaded arsehole in under 500 words while still trying to talk your ideas up
I have mixed feelings about this. It’s cool that that’s mine and Fiona’s work, but on the other hand it’s bullshit that thy never asked for our permission to use our work from last year to promote an exhibition for this year. They also never credited us anywhere. An example of how to art world can be shit.
I need a projector
A daylight projector, from the 20th of may til the 13 of June, to rent one is 75 a day. I am desperate. Anyone have any ideas? Or anyone in dublin have one I can borrow?
I got my space for grad show, it’s a small intimate space. Pretty nice. I’m hoping to get everything finished by tomorrow, assessment on Monday. THE NERVES
Anonymous asked: What are you going to do when college is over?
yikes, I want to do everything, but as far as my plans go for the moment is to start teaching some fun art classes with my good friend Fiona ( http://teanotholywater.tumblr.com/ ) but all that has to be organised and such. I’m also looking into doing medical illustration. I’d like to do a masters at some stage in my life, but I’ve plenty of time for that. Thanks for the interest <3
I have 17 different degree show related things on my to do list. I should have done them earlier, I know.
I AM JUST A CRY BABY
I’ve got so many stress rashes on my neck and tummy and I just got sick
:(
I’ve set the standards are too high for myself. Can’t think of anything that’s good enough to justify the years spent in college. Too stressed out. Art IS hard
